The HourGlass application is stored at our datacenter, where all of the best practices in data storage are employed. There is backup power, backup air conditioning, RAID storage and nightly backups. HourGlass employees do not access customer data, nor is it made available to any third party organizations; for more information, please read our Privacy Policy.

In addition, the entire HourGlass site uses SSL 256-bit encryption from the moment you login. SSL is an acronym for Secure Sockets Layer, a secure protocol developed by Netscape to transmit data over the Internet. HourGlass uses it to protect the data your organization submits.

Best practices are used to protect account data; credit card information and passwords are not stored nor are they accessible to system administrators. All data is backed-up nightly and stored for 7 days and are retained remotely. Older backups are overwritten.
